Orange = a cut. Measure down the top edge from the ridge cut to the bird's mouth, then the tail.
Lengths are to the long point of the top edge. Hip/jack cheek cuts are 45° in plan (see tap-cards). Bird's-mouth seat depth = your plate width. Deductions assume a centered ridge — confirm against your peak detail.
