INTERNAL ADMIN DOCUMENTATION — NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION
Bottle Refreshr Admin

When new information is uploaded and marked as ACTIVE, it becomes canonical and overrides prior assumptions, instructions, and interpretations across this system.

Purpose of This Page

This page exists to prevent drift, bad assumptions, over-claims, and misalignment across product, marketing, manufacturing, and AI.

If something is not stated here or marked ACTIVE, it is not true.

Authority Order (Non-Negotiable)

  1. Truth (this page)
  2. Product Truth
  3. Formulas / Mixing / Packaging
  4. Labels + Shopify
  5. Marketing platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Google)

No lower layer may contradict a higher layer.

Current ACTIVE Truth (System-Wide)

  • Product name: Bottle Refreshr (single product)
  • Category: shake-to-clean bottle & tumbler cleaner
  • Activation: motion-based
  • Water requirement: minimal (~1 oz)
  • Mechanism: cleaning ingredients + motion + controlled abrasion
  • Expectation: removes odor and loosens buildup so it rinses or wipes clean
  • Limitation: not a disinfectant; not perfect on all films

Motion Activation Truth (Critical)

Bottle Refreshr does not work by soaking. Cleaning is activated only when the powder-water mixture physically contacts all interior surfaces through motion.

  • Up and down shaking
  • Side to side movement
  • Swirling and rotation
  • Mixture must hit walls, seams, edges, and bottom

Light swirling or letting it sit is insufficient.

Water Truth (Non-Negotiable)

  • Use approximately 1 oz of water
  • More water reduces cleaning effectiveness
  • Over-dilution prevents mechanical action

Explicit DO NOT Rules

  • Do NOT soak indefinitely
  • Do NOT leave solution in bottle to dry
  • Do NOT treat as a disinfectant
  • Do NOT promise perfect results in all cases

Performance Reality (Expectation Control)

Bottle Refreshr is designed to:

  • Eliminate odor-causing residue
  • Loosen buildup so it rinses or wipes clean

Some stainless steel films (especially protein + mineral haze) may still require:

  • A second cleaning cycle
  • Light wiping with a paper towel or cloth

Claim Safety Truth

  • No “kills bacteria” language
  • No “sanitizes” or “disinfects” claims
  • No medical or antimicrobial positioning

Approved language focuses on odor, buildup, taste reset, and cleaning support.

AI Usage Rule (Important)

This Truth system can and should be used by AI.

When new information is uploaded and explicitly marked as:

“Add this to Truth as ACTIVE”

That information becomes canonical and overrides all prior assumptions, instructions, and interpretations across this system.

Truth Update Protocol

  1. State the new information clearly
  2. Declare scope (product, formula, label, platform)
  3. Explicitly say what it replaces
  4. Mark it ACTIVE

Nothing changes unless it is recorded here.

Truth Update — ACTIVE (Formula v3 + Page Alignment)

Status: ACTIVE

Scope: Formula, Manufacturing Reference, Platform Alignment

Effective: Immediately

This update replaces prior guidance related to the Bottle Refreshr formula, mixing reference location, and platform-aligned descriptions.

What Changed

  • Formula updated to v3 (All-Surface / Plastic Safe — Enhanced), including:
    • Sodium percarbonate increased from 15% → 20%
    • SLSa reduced from 9% → 7%
    • Low-foam nonionic surfactant increased from 3% → 4%
    • Calcium carbonate increased from 10% → 12%
    • Overall formula remains powder-stable, no-emulsion, plastic-safe
  • Mixing and safety guidance consolidated into the Formulas page. The standalone mixing.html file is no longer used as an active reference.
  • Index (Overview) and TikTok pages updated to reflect the v3 formula positioning, performance expectations, and approved language.

Current Active Manufacturing Reference

  • Formulas page is the single source of truth for:
    • Ingredient percentages
    • Batch scaling
    • Safety and prep notes
    • General and batch-specific mixing process
  • mixing.html is deprecated and should not be referenced.

What This Replaces

  • All prior v2 formula percentages and assumptions
  • Any guidance that references 15% percarbonate or higher SLSa levels
  • Any workflow that treats mixing.html as an active authority

This Truth Update is ACTIVE and overrides all prior formula, mixing, and platform assumptions unless explicitly superseded by a newer ACTIVE update.
